Would you like to have a Marriot property within 20 miles of National Parks like Yellowstone or Grand Canyon?
the lodging choices near most national parks are atrocious and the food is often much worse. I would see more of these wonders if Marriott provided choices close to them.
At Paradise Lodge at Mt. Rainier, the sink was just above my knees and the bed was awful. The breakfast buffet was out of Dr. Seuss, since they did serve green eggs (not intentionally, I presume). Other parks have not been much better!
I also like national parks. I have found that either Holiday Inn or Hilton does have some reasonably close. This does not seem to be the market that Marriott looks to gain.
I also wish there was still a Marriott just outside of Yosemite NP, also more options near Utah's national parks.
Welcome to the Insiders forum, 30marine. I too once proudly wore the eagle, globe and anchor. Semper Fi.
I stayed at the Yosemite Lodge when it was a Marriott and enjoyed it. It didn't stay a Marriott for long.
what about zion?
