Who wins and post your score?
Seattle 30 - New England 20
I'm no good at picking scores, but what the heck.
Seattle 24 - New England 17
Pats 28 - Seattle 21
Do I get a prize since I was the only one to pick the Patriots and correctly picked at least their score . YAY, PATS!
Prof you should get a prize of Bistro coffee coupons! Well done
Outstanding pick and point spread, Prof. You just about nailed it!
Thanks! I've been a believer since 1976, the bad old days -- and was never a fair weather fan!
Yeah Pats! Such a great WIN!!!
Or was it a heartbreaking loss for the Seahawks?
Either way, a close game is always more enjoyable to watch than a blowout.
I wouldn't classify a win as a great one on the simple account of a really bad play call. Keeping Marshawn Lynch from crossing the plane of the goal line for two or three plays? Now that would've been a great win. Sadly the Pats didn't even get the chance. Oh well, two great teams who both played some excellent football on any given Sunday...
Back to deflate gate (though the Pats aren't the only ones who are "deflated." )
Really, how does Lynch not get the ball in that situation.......maybe erc has something to do with the play calling in SEA as well as his other stints around the league?
Here's my imagined conversation post-play between Marshawn Lynch and Pete Carroll:
"Since you're here, you oughta be fined."
I'm hoping Seattle DC Dan Quinn can build a similar defensive powerhouse in Atlanta upon becoming the new Falcon HC. But I gotta say, he has his work cut out for him. He takes over a team that ranked dead last in total yards allowed, total passing yards allowed, and passing yards allowed per game. On the other hand, Ryan, Jones, White et al. ranked 5th in passing and 8th in overall offense. But that wasn't nearly enough to overcome a defense on life support.
