Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card Complaint

I am a Marriott Titanium elite member, very disappointed with treatment from Chase Bank regarding having to replace my Marriott Rewards Premier Plus credit card with the new Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card.  I only recently upgraded to the Premier Plus card from the previous card.


The issue is that I use this card for all my pre-authorized payments, and since the expiration date has changed, I will have to call all 12 vendors I have setup on the card.  I went through this same process a few months ago when the bank upgraded me to the Premier Plus card.  It is a very time consuming process, easily takes a couple hours.  Note I have four years remaining on my existing card.


I spoke to a representative and two supervisors at Chase, including a "floor supervisor", none of whom offered to help me in any way.  No compensation offered (e.g refund annual fee).  


I wonder why the bank or Marriott did not offer the option of keeping the existing card.
