I went to New Orleans Aug 3-5th to have some much needed fun with friends and enjoy White Linen Night on Julia Street.
I stayed at the Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center
When I got to my room there were two beds. I called down and was told there was nothing on my profile to indicate I just needed a king. Marriott SNAFU there, as no, there really was no option for me to check. It was like my profile poofed for a while. BUT the wonderful lady on the phone gave me a new room number and the bellman helped me move.
It was a suite!!! SCORE!!!
The hotel rooms are dated but this was very nice and comfortable!
I am staying here again this coming weekend. I won't count on a suite but I did see KING was guaranteed.
Friday I went to Restaurant Revolution for a friends bday dinner and it was LEGIT AMAZING!
HIGHLY recommend this place!
Saturday was While Linen Night. We walked up and down Julia Street and popped in the art galleries.
LOVE this one above!
By the end of the evening, it was SO packed!!! We left on a side street. We could not get anywhere on Julia or into anymore galleries. It was a good time, but not sure I would do it again! LOL
Sunday was a lazy day for me. I went to lunch at Willa Jean's with my uncle and aunt.
U need a Biscuit!
The grain bowl was wonderful.
