Who has stayed at a Townplace Suites property?
I just checked out of the Townplace Suites by Marriott in Estero, FL.
What a unanticipated pleasant experience. As a Lifetime Platinum Member, I had no idea what to expect at this extended stay property. I used the Marriott App to handle everything - initial reservation, room extras, upgrade request, etc. When I arrived my suite was ready, however, when the front desk person noticed I held Lifetime Platinum status, I was asked if I would mind waiting a few moments while she made some adjustments. No problem.
End result: One bedroom suite with a balcony upgrade (didn't even utilized this, as it's still a bit warm and humid in Florida), overlooking the large lake at the rear of the property (nice view when the drapes were open).
The property also had a lovely heated swimming pool, a propane fire pit (guests can control as they wish) and two huge Weber propane fired grills. Obviously, guests staying extended periods at Townhouse Suites can really settle in make themselves at home away from home.
The morning breakfast was more than adequate (not the level of most Concierge Lounge in JW Marriotts).#
The personnel were extremely friendly - so much so, that I've just made a reservation to return to the same property in two weeks.
