Adventures of a business traveler

I work in the medical industry.  I have the choice to attend events on weekends.  The fall and spring are very busy time with foundations holding events to raise awareness and or money for their special interests.  This weekend I had the pleasure of attending the GBS/CIDP International Foundations Philadelphia Chapter meeting.  Such good people meeting twice a year all over the country.  There is no charge to attend.  It is a true follow ship and education of and for people who have or have family members with GBS, CIDP, MMN or other Neurological issues.   My company is a specialty pharmacy that provides homecare to some of the patients.  I won't post pictures due to privacy.  Today was the GBS/CIDP Philadelphia Walk and Roll.  It is a joyous out door event folks and their families with GBS, CIDP, MMN, etc.

Families come with pets and wheelchairs and it is so much fun.

I couldn't attend the Walk and Roll today, because, I had agreed to sponsor a MGA Pooch Parade in Pittsburgh.  So after the Chapter meeting I jumped in my car and drove 5 hours.  I had booked my hotel reservation on line and decided to stay at the Marriott Towneplace Suites. I have stayed in Pittsburg many times for business, this was the first time staying here..  The rates were reasonable.  To my surprise it is an extended stay, with a nice kitchen, wonderful bed and

pillows.  I am staying for three nights and will stay here whenever I am in Pittsburgh.  I am going to Kentucky in a few weeks and will be staying at the Townsplace Suites there too.

I will tell you about the Pooch Parade later, it was adorable!
