Last week I visited Tokyo in a layover on my way to Kuala Lumpur. This is my 2nd time visiting Tokyo and this time I went the Disney route. So sit back and follow along on my trip!

I arrived in Tokyo Wednesday afternoon and immediately hopped onto the Nartia Express (NXT) train from Terminal 2 to Tokyo Station. This is about an hour train ride. Once i arrived at Tokyo Station, I took a short walk (2 blocks) and checked into the Courtyard Tokyo Station. (On a experience note, when you leave Tokyo Station, make sure you take the Yeasu South Gate. It is the closest to the Courtyard.) When you walk into the Hotel Entrance, you have to take the elevator up to the 4th floor for the front desk. Check in was a breeze as the staff speaks very good english. Once checked in, i settled into my room on the 2nd floor.

Thursday - I decided that i was going to visit Disneyland. It was a nice clear sunny day. I walked back over to Tokyo Station and hopped on the Keiyo (red) line. It was about a 20 minute train ride and i was at Disney!  I decided on the 2 day passport ticket. This allows you to spend 1 day at Disneyland and the next day at DisneySea. I decided to do Disneyland today. The park was not very crowded and it was a breeze to get into rides and attractions. There were several attractions that were closed for maintenance however.

Friday . Visited Disneysea. To get to Disney Sea, you take the train like above, but then you need to hop on the Monorail for 3 stops. The Monorail also takes the JR passes (Sucia Card). DisneySea was much bigger and had more to offer.

On Saturday I had to fly out to Kuala Lumpur so i took the NXT train back to Nartia airport.

Hotel - Cortyard Tokyo Station
