AC Hotel Boston Cleveland Circle Review

Blog Post created by ks83 on Jan 7, 2019

This was not a planned stay - was dropping my wife to BOS for a late flight and was pretty exhausted. So decided to spend the night in BOS rather than driving back home. I have never stayed at a AC hotel before so thought this might be the right time as BOS area has 4 AC hotels. I picked this one because this was a bit out of the city and parking was cheaper.

Booked a package rate which included valet parking although the rate description said it would be only $30 off and valet is $40.

Check-in was pretty smooth - was upgraded to a huge corner suite on the top floor. The agent also said it covered valet completely so I saved $20 compared to booking AAA and paying valet. There was no self-parking and I did not want to wander in the night looking for public parking.

Sorry - did not take any pics as I was super tired. This is a brand new hotel - just opened last May. Everything looks brand new. What stood out was they had a hydration station on my floor - presumably on every floor and it had bottles too where you can fill up on filter water. I really liked this as I don't have to buy bottled water.

AC hotels don't offer breakfast - they rather do a $10 F&B credit daily for member + 1 which can be chosen as a welcome amenity.

The breakfast is served downstairs at the AC kitchen. When I went there at 8 30 AM - I was alone. The buffet included cold items, pastries, 3 or 4 types of quiches, fruits, oatmeal and a choice of 2 available entrees. All of this for $18 - which I thought was a reasonable price. The breakfast was pretty good.

Checkout was pretty smooth - paid with a marriott gift card which I had sourced at 86% - so saved 14% on the stay.
