Sealed windows = shared air w/ GERMS

Hotels with sealed windows and recirculated interior air pose a threat to human health in general on an on-going basis, but because those systems are not manufactured to filter out the small moisture particles carrying the Covid-19 virus, they pose a specific threat now for catching this disease.

Sadly, Marriott has been transitioning in new construction to rooms with windows that do not open, offering only cruise-ship style conditioned air that everyone else in the entire physical plant breaths 24/7. While sometimes passed off as a "safety measure" by the company, in fact, it saves money on insurance.

Check before you book if you prefer to not be breathing the air breathed by everyone else staying the night or on staff working that night.
