There’s a lot of complaints about SNAs not actually working yet we know they do. We already have a thread to big-up checkin suite upgrades at jasper100’s excellent monster 2,000-reply thread here, Where was your last Marriott stay and were you upgraded to a Suite??? and this thread isn’t to replace that legendarily popular post. Instead… Show more
Anyone else still waiting on their Elite Night Credits for 3k spend to hit their Marriott Bonvoy account? Prior to the merger with SPG, these used to be instant. I’m seeing my annual 15 elite night credits in my account but still no sign of any 3k spend elite night credits. Curious if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue. Thanks!
In order to solve a missing night and stay problem with Bonvoy I decided that I needed to book a single night somewhere to ensure double points and a free night on my week long trip to Tenerife in June. I decided to call back on an old favourite of mine, The Aloft in Liverpool, the home of the best breakfast anywhere( brightlybob) and the best… Show more

I would like to nominate Rachel Morris at the SpringHill Suites in Reston VA. I have now had 2 events at this hotel and the level of service from Rachel is second to none. She is constantly upbeat and approaches every situation with a can-do attitude. Numerous times during the last event she went above and beyond to make things easier for me. From… Show more

I've been traveling for work for a few years now, always staying with Marriott (titanium elite!), and never had anything like this happen to me before.. I arrive at my usual Fairfield Inn hotel on a Monday night, late, ready to check in (had reservation & did mobile check-in) and the girl at the front desk tells me they DON'T HAVE A ROOM FOR ME.… Show more
Just received my second "Target" email in the past five months; this one for 4500 bonus points. Not sure why I even got one as I've got 13 reservations in the systems over the next month so will kill it easy. Strange...I appreciate the easy points; but I hope others are receiving similar target bonus emails. Cheers!
All - I have reservations for the Sheraton Guayaquil Hotel for "bookends" on a 15 day trip to Ecuador with 12 days in between to drive around the country in the sierras and south-eastern part of Ecuador. Next trip I will take in Quito and the Pacific coast. Just wondering - - - any tidbits of knowledge that could prove useful for me?
Be there Thursday, won a MMoment, dinner at Per Se (3 Michelin Star restaurant) Used points to get in the JW Essex House, SNA upgraded to Manhattan Suite (pictures look *really* nice)
I have stayed 57 nights so far this year...47 paid, 10 redeemed (points/certs). Today, an 11th day was credited in the redeemed basket on my account. I haven’t stayed that 11th night, so it’s a mystery. Also, no corresponding activity is showing to cross check. I’m wondering if this is the birthday credit showing up in the wrong category. … Show more

This is essentially a follow-up to my blog 2018: Final Year of SPG as We Know It! Last year represented “The Year of the Merge”. This year represents “The Year of Hope”, only because I’m hopeful that Marriott will do whatever it takes to improve service levels across the spectrum. Elites are leaving in droves, exploring other brands or… Show more
