Another instance of hotels trying to play with benefits: Late checkout only being honored up to 2pm for all members (regardless of status), as hotel states a checkout between 2-4pm will be charged a 1/2 day of the rate booked, and a checkout after 4pm will be charged a full day. I’ve recently noticed that I’m not getting confirmation emails upon making a booking. I haven’t changed my preferences and do find these emails useful to keep track of my reservations and rates. Could communitymanagers confirm if there’s been a change. Are other insiders finding these confirmation emails have stopped?
The issue I am having is that some hotels I am not getting the nights and points after three weeks. I have been told that some of the hotels are not on the bonvoy system yet. It doesn’t look like I have stayed at the hotel. If i didn’t have the receipts or confirmation numbers, I would be stuck. i am a titanium lifetime member.
