Hi all, I am constantly having to report missing stays. Four times in the past 8 weeks alone. I always book directly through the Bonvoy App and I get emails about my stay etc. Every time I call to complain all they say is sorry thank you for being a valued platinum elite member. I have sent emails asking what the problem is, is it me, the…(Show moreShow less)
Joe....could you expand on "0" out your stays? What exactly are you doing and when? I'm thinking you're either separating food charges from the room charges or getting a bill every two nights? let us know, please.
The best bet for a weekend stay with lounge in DC is the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City, Club Level. It’s a lovely hotel with great staff and is within walking distance of public transportation and shopping.
Inside of 5 days prior to your arrival, consider this the middle finger. Why can't there be a benefit that just makes sense and works - period, end of story. Marriott should set the bar, and if reached, this should be the caveat: Room available, room granted. The concept is too simple to work. So, all I have this this. A meaningless…(Show moreShow less)
It’s no different than airlines that don’t grant upgrades even inside the window of eligibility. The first priority should be to try to sell the suites, even last minute, if they can (its a business after all!) if suites are open when you check in, I feel like they should certainly upgrade the SNAs and even non-SNAs that are eligible. Whether…
Since December 13th, I have been on vacation travelling all over the US & Canada experiencing IHG, Bonvoy and Hilton properties - Elite status in all 3 - Spire, Platinum and Diamond respectively. My observations and experience gave the overall thumbs up to Bonvoy! Sometimes on this forum, we really take a lot for granted and sometimes things go…(Show moreShow less)
Like you Pat, Bonvoy brand hotels continue to be my favourites but I’m increasingly being worn down by persistent pointshorting Bonvoys ever reducing customer care standards and website flubs. None of these reflect Bonvoys hard product which remains excellent, and it seems if anything, improving. Likewise the Bonvoy program is (at least for me,…
It’s amazing how many things there are to go wrong and how many Marriotts crack IT team can manage to hit! Pleased I haven’t go that one, but then I’ve not got 47 upcoming stays reserved! Whether or not my website flub outdid yours is a matter for debate but what’s beyond debate is that your 47 upcoming stays outdoes my 7!
I understand Spring Hill Suites and Residence Inn are only Marriott properties that permit pets in room. For those who have utilized this feature, can you advise extra costs for this, or do they just require a damage deposit at check in, refundable if no damage? Thanks
I have looked on hear may times since first seeing this in 2008. I have from time to time, seen that my profile shows the same as it did 12 years ago. Since Titanium and even ambassador has been around, I have always been the the top status. Is there a reason that the automated system still sees me as the same highest status as I was in 2008 ?…(Show moreShow less)
Two years ago I have received a Birthday Elite Night Credit on my Birthday. This month also my Birthday month. How can I get this corrected? I really look forward to getting the Elite night night credit, because it helps me maintain my platinum elite status.
Hello, My wife and I are going to Greece in September. We are debating on a cruise vs. land tour. I see on the Bonvoy site that we can get points per $1 spend on cruises. I then noticed that MSC says they match Marriott status. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and what were the perks. I am currently titanium member. …(Show moreShow less)
When it first came out the status match was fantastic. I guess it was more successful than they thought because the following year they downgraded the matches. Here is a Thread on CruiseCritic which shows the current status matches. Last person to match Titanium got MSC Silver but if you read the thread you will see that MSC really doesn’t have…
Now here is a question for brightlybob and any other statistics persons on here. The points per spend have been reduced from 3 points per pound to 2. A 1/3 kick in the teeth for us Brits. I haven't found anything else nasty in the change yet but can anybody tell me what advantages the US Amex card card has that have not been given to us. I am…(Show moreShow less)
Well, it looks like my Post Office and Nationwide exchange fee free cards will continue to be used for the bulk of my travels. Very little of my traveling is done in the UK, except to Anglesey, where nobody has ever seen an Amex card!
