Last weekend eclektech and I made a return visit to Toronto.  Our last visit took place in Fall 2013 where we got to witness the first snowfall of the season there.  On this visit we got to experience some nice warm sunny weather at the beginning of the trip (mid 70s) along with some showers on the last day of the trip.  We chose to stay at the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre again for this trip as it is located in the central area of downtown.  The excellent staff at this Marriott makes you feel extra welcome and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

While on this trip we did experience a really nice restaurant called "The Pickle Barrel" which was kind of a hidden gem.  With a name like The Pickle Barrel you would expect most of their dishes to contain pickles (which I dislike) but that is not the case.  They have a really small entrance on Yonge Street near the Eaton Centre which is easy to miss but once you go inside the restaurant sports a lower level for their main dining area which is huge.  Their 18 page menu features a breakfast section which is available for all day dining with a large number of light fare and dinner entrees.  They truly have something for everyone.
