This past week-end was most memorable and delightful!  If you have a chance to enjoy a meeting or are looking for a unique place to visit in the Mid-West,  OKC is a wonderful choice!  Here's why:

The Renaissance is in a great downtown location and has a wonderful lobby.  Note the flowers that greet you and they are in front of a wonderful indoor pond!

The 50 story Devon Tower, is in front of The Renaissance, and is a spectacular place to dine!  The 49th floor is open to the public and the dining is very good and reasonably priced!

Colorful statues adorn the streets and the atmosphere is very relaxing as you stroll around OKC!

Shopping is wonderful and nice shops are nearby!  One of my favorites is Becki's Hallmark, near the front of the hotel.  Great gifts and great souvenirs!  Rebecca and Tom are friendly and helpful.

The Governors Mansion, is open to the public, and beautiful!  Historic Oklahoma is represented proudly by this carpet at The GM!

The view of the Capital Building from The Governors Mansion!  The building was built at around $1.5 million and the dome was added at a later date!

Tributes to "Native American's" are plentiful though out The Governors Mansion!

The dining room at The Governors Mansion is "Very classy"!

The Governors swimming pool is in the shape of Oklahoma, the "Panhandle" is actually a hot tub!

The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, is another "Must" if you enjoy The West!  Western Songs, Movies, Guns, Art and more provide an interesting time for all!  What's your favorite Western movie?  Movie Star?  How about?

John Wayne!  There is a special section devoted to his contributions to The West!

How about President Reagan?  The great actor, politician, and statesman is also featured at The Museum!

Recognize any of these people?  You favorite will be at the museum!  Enjoy the beauty of all the information provided here!

A great place that offers "Tribute's" to "The West" and it's historic past!

Hope you can share other experiences with OKC, but as stated for decades, "OK is OK by me!"
